Biography

I chose Beloit because Beloit was a family to me. For one, I had an older sister who was already at Beloit playing on the basketball team at the time. Being able to play with my sister, and for one year start with her was insanely cool. So, when I was making my choice, I knew I had real family here, and I loved that. But the rest of the team was like family too. It was one community, and a group of girls who would battle on the court and walked off and loved each other at the end of the day. Coming in, I knew that I would have 12 girls who would drop anything for me, and who would become basically more family to me over my four years. I knew this was the culture coming in, and that was what I wanted for my college experience.

Being on the Beloit Women’s Basketball team to me means a lot. The most meaningful part to me is being a part of something bigger than myself, and being proud of it. Playing basketball at Beloit means that you have a chance to be a part of something great, and while you have that chance on the court, you have a chance to get the best education, and make the best memories and experiences with your Beloit family.
