Alex Kingsley joins the Beloit College coaching staff as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach for the 2024-2025 season.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity to coach at Beloit. I immediately felt welcomed and wanted," said Kingsley. "I look forward to continuing to develop strong relationships with players, coaches, students and staff. While here I hope to continue to grow old traditions and build new ones."

Kingsley brings a coaching philosophy centered on execution and excellence: "Be able to do the simple and easy things at a high level."

He comes to Beloit after serving as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before moving to the collegiate level, Kingsley built a strong coaching foundation in the Boston area, serving as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant for the boys' basketball program at Saint Joseph Prep Academy from 2018 to 2022. He also coached the 7th/8th grade boys' basketball team at the Brimmer and May School.

Kingsley began his coaching career in his home state of Wisconsin, where he was a Varsity Assistant basketball coach at West Allis Central High School for four years (2014-2017).

A native of West Allis, WI, Kingsley was a multi-sport athlete in high school, competing in varsity basketball, track, football, and baseball. He continued playing basketball at the intramural and club level in college. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, holding a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management.

Off the court, Kingsley enjoys spending time with his partner, April, and their son, Avery, as well as hiking, watching movies, personal training, and traveling.
