Beloit Head Football Coach Kyle Langhoff has announced Brody Pogue as the new Offensive Coordinator for the Bucs ahead of the 2025 season.
Pogue comes to Beloit from UW-Whitewater after a a nearly three year run as the wide receivers coach for the Warhawks. While at Whitewater, he collaborated with offensive staff on game-planning, installments, scouting, and play design. He also coordinated the Kickoff Return unit, finishing 1st in the WIAC & D3 in 2024. During his time with the team he, mentored two All-WIAC WR selections, Honorable Mention Return Specialist, 2023 WIAC Newcomer of the Year, 2024 All-Region 1st Team Honoree, and 2nd Team All-American.
No stranger to the Midwest Conference, he also spent time in Jacksonville, Illinois at Illinois College. While with the Blue Boys, he served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. There, he oversaw all aspects of the offensive design, installment, scouting, practice planning, game-planning, and play-calling. He directed offensive staff organization, practice plans, and opponent breakdown delegation.
Pogue started his coaching career at NAIA Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. He coached the Offensive Line, for three seasons. Running Backs, and Tight Ends for two seasons before being promoted to the Offensive Coordinator for his final two seasons. While with the Fighting Bee's he mentored 8 All-MSFA selections; 5 Offensive Lineman, 2 Running Backs, and a Tight End.
Pogue earned his Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Illinois College in 2015 where he was a member of the football team. In 2015 he earned 1st Team All-MWC as an offensive linemen. He was a two-year starter on the O-line and saw action in 36 of 40 career games. Pogue also earned a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership at St. Ambrose University in 2019.
