Ed DeGorge has served as a volunteer assistant for the Beloit College Baseball team since the 2018 season.
DeGeorge arrived on the campus of Beloit College in 1977, set to revive a perennially bad football program. In 29 seasons at the helm, he amassed 135 wins and five MWC North Division Championships.
Along with serving as the head football coach, DeGeorge served as the Beloit College Director of Athletics from 1985-2004.
His Commitment to Beloit College continues to this day. His passion for coaching passed on to his three sons, all of whom have been head coaches at the NCAA Division III level. He is still a welcome site around the Athletic Department and the campus. He and his wife, Nancy, are still heavily invested in the well-being of Beloit College and its student-athletes.
