Kyle Langhoff

Kyle Langhoff was named the 31st head football coach in Beloit College history in the spring of 2025.

Langhoff joined the Buccaneer coaching staff prior to the 2019 season as an associate head coach and defensive coordinator.  He helped increase the roster from 17 players to 80 players during that time as well as help bring stability to the program in the areas of recruiting, retention, academics, and athletics.  The Buccaneer defense showed on-field and statistical improvement during this time as well.  He coached Christopher Croft Jr. and Gavin Thorpe, both of whom were multiple year Midwest Conference All-Conference players as well as other athletic and academic accolades.

Langhoff came to Beloit from MacMurray College, a NCAA Division III program, where he was the associate head coach, defensive coordinator, and special teams coordinator during his seven seasons. During that time, Langhoff was also the program's recruiting coordinator and special teams coordinator.  In his seven seasons at MacMurray, Langhoff was part of one of the biggest turnarounds in college football as the Highlanders won four games in five seasons prior to Langhoff's arrival. The team won just five games during Langhoff's first three seasons before posting a record of 29-10 over the last four campaigns. With the program's turnaround came a myriad of player and program awards. Langhoff coached a two-time conference Defensive Player of the Year who also garnered All-Region, All-America and NCAA statistical champion (tackles for a loss and sacks) recognition. Additionally, numerous student-athletes under Langhoff's tutelage earned all-conference athletic and academic honors.

Prior to MacMurray, Langhoff had coaching stints at Briar Cliff University and Central Methodist University. There he was defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator as well as other titles.

As a student-athlete, Langhoff was a four-year letterwinner on the offensive line at Lake Forest College where he was a member of the 2002 Midwest Conference Championship team.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lake Forest in 2003 and a Master of Education from Central Methodist in 2005.
Langhoff and his wife Kelly, have a ten-year-old daughter named Ava.
