The Beloit College men's soccer team fell to league-leader St. Norbert 7-1. The Buccaneers wrap up 2018 with a 4-13-1 record including a 2-7 mark in the Midwest Conference.
The Bucs held the surging Green Knights in check in the first half. SNC tallied two goals in the first 22 minutes of the contest but Casey Wagner's penalty kick, his third of the season, cut that lead in half in the 25th minute. Neither team found the back of the net the rest of the half heading into the break with the score 2-1 in favor of the Green Knights.
St. Norbert exploded for five goals in the second half to remain unbeaten in Midwest Conference play at 9-0.
Alex Lyon and EJ Lowney split time in goal for the Buccaneers with Lyon suffering the loss in net.
