The Beloit College women's soccer team fell to St. Norbert College 2-1 Saturday afternoon. The loss takes the Buccaneers out of contention for a berth into the Midwest Conference Tournament.
The Bucs doubled the Green Knights up with a 17-8 advantage in shots including a 10-3 margin in the first half.
Neither team was able to beat the opposing defense in the first 45 minutes of the contest as the team's went into the break with no score.
The Green Knights struck early into the second half, tallying two goals in the first 12 minutes.
Genesis Dade beat the SNC keeper off of a pass from Candace Cunningham in the 76th minute to cut the lead in half.
The Buccaneers continued to put pressure on the defense but were unable to tally the equalizer.
The Bucs wrap up the 2018 season with a 5-10-1 record including a 4-5 mark in the MWC.
