The Beloit College volleyball team was topped by Ripon College 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-23) on the road Saturday afternoon in the team's final game of the season.
The Buccaneers struggled offensively but out-blocked the Redhawks in the contest as middle blocker Allison Faber held true to her position leading all players with five blocks including two solo and three assisted.
Eva Laun-Smith led the Bucs with six kills while fellow outside hitter Aryssa Harris tallied five in the match. Setter Paige Wimbrow set up the Beloit attackers for 16 assists.
Defensively in the backcourt, senior libero Shelby Strehlow registered eight digs bringing her career total to 838.
Beloit wraps up the 2018 season with an 8-17 mark including a 2-7 record in the Midwest Conference.
