The Beloit College women's soccer team fell to Lawrence University on the road 3-1 Saturday. The Vikings took an early lead that the Buccaneers were unable to overcome.
Lawrence registered the first goal of the game in the sixth minute off a corner kick and added a second goal in the 40th minute.

Kayla Erickson cut the deficit in half lofting a ball over the Viking keeper to pull the Bucs within one, 2-1, in the 42nd minute.
The Vikings added a cushion in the second half with a goal in the 75th minute off a free kick set piece for the final.
Audrey Ketterer made four saves in the complete game in goal for the Bucs.
Beloit takes the week off before heading back on the road for a weekend in Illinois. The Bucs will face the Prairie Fire of Knox College Saturday, October 19 followed by a Sunday matchup with the Lady Blues at Illinois College.
