The Beloit College football team was blanked by the now 2-0 (MWC North) St. Norbert Green Knights 66-0 on the road Saturday.
The Buccaneers struggled to gain momentum against a solid St. Norbert squad that boasts the top scoring offense in the Midwest Conference North Division in overall season stats.
Individually, Alex Alvarez was 8-for-20 passing while Ethan Hansen was tapped for the carry on 12 occasions. Defensively, Jeff Vazquez led the Bucs with 12 tackles including eight solo. Michael Lafayette added seven tackles in the contest, all of the solo version.
Beloit, now 1-1 in league divisional play, will be back at Strong Stadium Saturday, October 26 to host Lake Forest College. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
