Like many of the contests taking place for the Buccaneers Saturday, the women's soccer team had to deal with inclement weather that affected play at Grinnell. Beloit College fell to the Pioneers 5-0 in a game that was extended after an hour-long lightning delay.
The solid Grinnell squad that remained unbeated in league play posted three goals in the first half while the Pioneer defense stymied all offensive opportunities for the Buccaneers allowing just one Beloit shot in the contest.Â
Sydney Hukin registered a shot in the game while defensively
Connor Keegan-Lloyd and
Audrey Ketterer combined for nine saves for Beloit.Â
The Bucs will continue to make their way through the Midwest Conference slate hosting Lake Forest College Tuesday, October 8 at 4:30 p.m. at the Strong Soccer Complex in Beloit.Â
