The Beloit College men's lacrosse team fell to Midwest Lacrosse Conference second place Aurora University 30-3 Friday night in the team's season finale. The Buccaneers wrap up the 2019 season with a 7-8 overall record and a 6-5 mark in league play. The five Buc seniors were honored prior to the game.
Aurora dominated the time of possession but Mark Gannon was able to find an opening for two goals and Michael Boyland tallied another. Gannon's first goal came off an assist from Boyland with 5:20 to play in the second quarter. He added another, with Beloit playing a player short, with 13:13 left in the game with Boyland once again providing the assist. Boyland beat the keeper and found the back of the net for his goal at the 11:30 mark.
Chris Krueger and Ian Jacobs each recorded five groundballs and Krueger led Beloit with four caused turnovers.
David Kunczynski made 15 saves in the loss.

Luke Thomson (Verona, Wis.) – Education major planning to attend graduate school following graduation from Beloit
Ezra Rogers (Brunswick, Maine) – Education and environmental studies major; Will student teach in Ann Arbor, Michigan following graduation from Beloit
Michael Boyland (Madison, Wis.) – Business economics major; Has a marketing and sales job lined up with Power Home Remodeling Group following graduation
Mark Gannon (Bellingham, Wash.) – Health and society major; Plans to move to Seattle to prepare for graduate school in a health-related field
Chris Krueger (Ann Arbor, Mich.) – Biochemistry major planning to work as an EMT for the next year with the intent of attending medical school
