Camden Leonard,
Tenajh Gaitor and
Anna Bunzel all secured team season best times to lead Beloit College at a dual meet host by UW-Oshkosh Friday evening. The Buccaneers fell to the Titans 114-86 on the men's side and 180-31 in the women's meet.
Leonard notched two team season bests Friday. He led a four-person contingent for Beloit in the 200 freestyle stopping the clock in 1:49.25 for a first place finish in the event.
John Rose III,
George Carlson and
Brandon Washburn also competed in the event. Leonard's 48.64 clocking in the 100 free was tops for another team season best while Carlson and
David Morris finished in third and fourth. Gaitor's top time of the season for the Bucs came in the 200 butterfly with a clocking of 2:14.24. Gaitor picked up another first place finish coming into the wall in 23.26 in the 50 free. The Bucs made it 1-2-3 in the event as Morris was second with a time of 24.62 and
Max Saladar third with a time of 24.86. Mason Mu also competed in the event.
Matt Shea represented Beloit College with a time of 20:12.65 in the 1650 free while also competing in the 200 backstroke. Saladar joined Shea in the 200 back. Washburn and Rose III went 2-3 in the 500 free with Washburn's 5:35.25 leading the way. Gaitor was the runner-up in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.53 as Leonard and Carlson also represented the Bucs in the event.
Wil Kangas-Olson scored 239.77 off the one meter board for another runner-up finish.
Saladar,
Carson McDonald, Morris and Rose III combined for a time of 4:17.40 in the 400 medley relay while Washburn, Shea and Mu joined McDonald in teh 400 freestyle relay to register a time of 4:09.36.
On the women's side, Bunzel tallied a team season best time of 2:27.61 in the 200 backstroke to finish second while
Gianna Perata was fourth in the event. Bunzel was also third in the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:18.58. Perata led a five person contingent representing the Bucs in the 50 free. Her 30.71 clocking was second.
Padyn O'Keefe,
Brooke Popkin, Shivangi Armbardar and
Ana Kohout also competed in the event.
Michelle Stevens finished fourth with a time of 2:39.56 in the 200 free and was a member of the Bucs' foursome that also included Perata, Bunzel and O'Keefe for a 5:02.17 clocking in the 400 medley relay.
The Bucs will host Knox College in the inaugural meet in the Robert G. Nicholls Natatorium in the Beloit College Powerhouse Saturday at 3 p.m.
