The Beloit College men's lacrosse team fell to Illinois Tech 15-5 on the road Tuesday evening. 

The Buccaneers held close through the first period trailing by just one, 4-3, after 15 minutes of play. Beloit and the Scarlet Hawks traded goals through the first quarter. Andrei Prikhodko negated a pair of IIT goals before Tobin Greenwald notched the equalizer to tie the game 3-3 with 2:19 left in the period. IIT found the back of the net with just seconds remaining to take the 4-3 lead into the second. 

The Scarlet Hawk offense really put the pressure on tallying three goals in the second quarter to take a 7-3 advantage into the intermission.

Greenwald scored Beloit's lone goals of the second half with one at the 11:27 mark of the third quarter and the final goal of the contest with less than four minutes remaining.

Greenwald also led the Bucs in loose ball situations with six groundballs while Keelar Tardiff and James Miranda shared team-high honors with three caused turnovers. 

Quinn Olsson suffered the loss tallying 11 saves in the complete game in goal.
