The Beloit College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in a Saturday triangular hosted by Monmouth College. The Buccaneers fell to Monmouth 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-12) before suffering a non-conference loss to Greenville 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-15). 

The Buc offense struggled to gain its footing Saturday against solid defensive squads. Cora Linos led Beloit in the opener against Monmouth with five kills adding three assists and seven digs. Abbie Schmidt tallied 10 assists. Jada Daniel registered the teams sole block int he match while Komachi Naoe led the Bucs in the backcourt with 16 digs. 

Regina Guehlstorf and Angela Donath each posted six kills in the second match of the day while Linos dished out 12 assists. Schmidt added a team-high 11 digs.
