The Buccaneer men's basketball team fell to Rockford University 62-41 in a nonconference matchup in Rockford Wednesday night.
Beloit's offense struggled to find the bottom of the net in the first half knocking down just 23-percent of their shots while the Regents were 35-percent from the field. The Bucs did carry an advantage from the free throw line hitting 9-14 while Rockford was 4-7.
Michael Polakoski led Beloit with his third straight 20+ point game posting 22 on 8-12 from the field and 4-4 from the charity stripe.
Ethan Bozzo was the most active Buc on the boards pulling down nine rebounds in the game while adding eight points.
Brian Rusch bolstered the offense with a team-high three assists.
