Josh Rosen was a triple threat at Beloit. A star on the soccer field and the basketball floor, Rosen was equally as impressive in the classroom.

Rosen, a Madison, Wisconsin area native, led the Buccaneer men's soccer team to a complete turnaround taking the squad that was near the bottom of the league in the standings to a school record 12-win season in 1992 that culminated in the team's first trip to the Midwest Conference Tournament in over a decade. During that season, Rosen registered 11 assists, second in the program record book.

Over the course of his career on the soccer field, Rosen set up his teammates for 26 goals, a mark that ranks second for career assists.

A three-time All-Midwest Conference selection, Rosen was named All-State twice, and was the first Buccaneer to earn All-Region honors.

On the hardwood, Rosen played a pivotal role in two MWC Championship and MWC Tournament title runs (1992-93 and 1994-95). Rosen sealed the win in the 1995 championship games draining a three-pointer against Beloit's arch rival Ripon for the title.

Like he did on the pitch, Rosen was fantastic at setting up his teammates on the hardwood. His 104 assists in 1994-95 is sixth in the program record book.

Rosen was named the winner of the Donald 'Red' Janssen and Pat Dawson Awards as Beloit's top junior and senior male student-athlete respectively. He was also named the recipient of the MWC's Roy LeClere Award given to the junior male student-athlete with the highest grade point average in the conference.

Rosen was inducted in to the Beloit College Hall of Honor in 2006.
Stay tuned for the next feature in this series set to release April 8.
