The Buccaneer women's soccer team registered its second win in just three days time with a 3-0 rout of Rockford University at the Strong Stadium Complex in Beloit Sunday.
The Bucs dominated from start to finish owning time of possession and firing 24 shots including 15 on goal while the stifling defense allowed a single shot on frame in the contest.
Although it took a bit for the offense to find its stride, Beloit broke the stalemate by the 30th minute.

Makenna Downing for her third goal of the season to open the scoring.
The next goal came courtesy of some nifty footwork and ball handling from
Natalie Ortiz. The sophomore tallied her first collegiate goal in the 60th minute firing a shot through a host of purple jerseys that found the back of the net for a 2-0 Buccaneer advantage.
Fifteen minutes later, a long ball up the sideline was chased down by
Cailee Smith. The sophomore settled and took her defender one-on-one toward the right side of the box. Finding an opening, she used her right boot to elevate the ball over the goalie's outstretch hand into goal for her first career score.
Three keepers saw time in net for the Bucs.

Maya Betzler came in for the second shift recording nearly 35 minutes in goal and registering the lone save on the day before Diasy Kleinhoffer closed out the game for Beloit.
