The Beloit College women's basketball team fell to the Midwest Conference leader, Ripon College, 74-59 on the road Tuesday night.
The Red Hawks posted big first and third quarters to build a hefty lead. The Buccaneers came back with their best period of the night in the fourth shooting 67-percent from the floor and from the charity stripe to top Ripon 21-15 in the 10-minute span.
Ripon used their height advantage to lead in rebounding 40-27 which turned into a 15-point sway in second chance points.
Elizabeth Kalk and
Addyson Ciochon paced Beloit with 15 points each. Kalk knocked down three from long range and added a game-high five assists.
Johanna McNair dropped in 10 points on 4-7 from the field in the contest.
Hadja Bayo and Ciochon shared team-high rebounds honors with four each.
