The Beloit College men's basketball team dropped their season finale at Cornell College, ranked second in the Midwest Conference standings in the final weekend of the regular season, 81-44 in Mount Vernon, Iowa Saturday afternoon.
The Buccaneers struggled to gain their footing offensively and turnovers proved costly in the contest for Beloit. The Bucs shot just 26-percent for the game while the home squad was hit nearly 50-percent of their shots from the field. On the turnover front, Cornell enjoyed a 28-5 sway in points off miscues.
Brian Rusch led Beloit posting 11 points bolstered by 3-6 from three-point range.
Andrew Walters hauled in 13 rebounds to lead all players and added a game-high five assists.
