Box Score DUBUQUE, Iowa - Beloit's women's soccer team suffered their first loss of the 2022 season Wednesday night, falling to Clarke College by a score of 1-0. Clarke also held a 19-4 edge on total shots and a 10-2 advantage in shots on goal.

The game's only goal came in the 57th minute during the second half when Samantha Miller found the net for Clarke (5-1-1).

Beloit (2-1-1) saw Goal Keeper Maya Betzler make nine saves in her first start of the season, playing all 90 minutes. Her counterpart, April Lashomb, recorded two saves in 90 minutes for the shutout.

The Buccaneers will try to get back on the winning track on Saturday when they'll host Carroll University at Noon at Strong Stadium Soccer Complex in Beloit.
