WHITEWATER, Wis. - Beloit's men's soccer team lost to UW-Whitewater Tuesday night by the score of 4-0 in a tough non-conference battle. Whitewater also held an 18-2 shot advantage.
The scoring began in the eighth minute when Peyton Nichols scored his second goal of the season. Tucker Jahns and Aidan Glancey also each added a goal in the first half, before Jahns netted his second goal of the day just after halftime to cap the scoring.
Beloit Goal Keeper Clark Burch-Woodard recorded five saves in 90 minutes of action. His counterpart, Duncan Morgan, also played the entire game, making one save.
The Buccaneers will be in action again on Saturday when they'll resume conference play against Knox College. That game will begin at 11 a.m. at Strong Complex Soccer Field in Beloit.
