MILWAUKEE, Wis. - For the second time in as many games, Beloit's women's soccer team won by shutout, defeating Wisconsin Lutheran 4-0 Sunday afternoon.
Mikaila Davis kicked off the scoring with a goal just two minutes into the contest, before adding a second goal in the 24th minute.
The second half saw
Natalie Ortiz duplicate her teammates' feat, scoring two goals within 28 seconds of each other in the 61st minute.
Beloit Goal Keeper
Briana Arteaga recorded one save in the shutout, while Wisconsin Lutheran's Christian Casimir made seven shaves.
The Buccaneers will try to keep things rolling on Wendesday when they'll battle Carthage College at home. That game will begin at 5 p.m. at Strong Complex Soccer Field in Beloit, Wis.
