BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College volleyball team hosted the Monmouth College Fighting Scots for a Saturday afternoon MWC matchup. Coming off a quick turnaround from a match last night, the Bucs (1-16, 0-4) mixed some things up in the lineup in hopes of seeing some more success. The Fighting Scots (9-11, 3-2) had other ideas and slammed the door on the Bucs in straight sets, 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.
Kaci Watanabe (Wahiawa, Hawaii) got the nod at libero today and recorded 1 ace and 16 digs.
Camille Ledoux (Sherbrooke, Quebec) led the Bucs offensively with 8 kills. Once again,
Abbie Schmidt's (Buckley, Ill.) name filled the box score with 4 kills, 11 assists and 16 digs.
The Bucs hit the road on Wednesday and head to Mount Vernon, Iowa for a game against the Cornell Rams. The match will start at 7 p.m.
