BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Women's soccer team played their final non-conference game of the season this evening. The Buccaneers (4-8-5) hosted the UW-Platteville Pioneers (9-2-4). 

For the Bucs, this was one of the final preparations before heading to the Midwest Conference Tournament which starts on November 3rd. 

The Pioneers broke the scoreless tie in just the 9th minute. Less than a minute later, the pushed their lead to 2. Four minutes later, Bri Paez (Las Vegas, Nev.) netted the Bucs first goal, coming off the foot of Dakota Thompson (Island Lake, Ill.).  The Bucs still trailed 2-1 at the half. 

In the 56th minute, Cassidy Felix scored her first career goal to tie the game at 2. Once again, Thompson recorded the assist. 

Despite more chances from both teams, the match ended in a 2-2 draw. 

The Buccaneers return to the pitch on Saturday, October 28th at home against Illinois College. Before the match Beloit will recognize their nine seniors.
