BELOIT, Wis. - This evening the Beloit College Volleyball team opened Midwest Conference play when they hosted Grinnell College. Grinnell came into the match with a 7-11 overall record while the Buccaneers were fresh off their first win of the season at 1-11. 

The Pioneers rode a 14-6 run to close out the Bucs in the first set, 25-15. Beloit struggled in the second set and fell 25-9. BC fell just short of a comeback in the third set and lost 25-20 to lose the match 3-0.

The Buccaneers return to the court at home on Saturday, October 7th at 1 p.m. against Lake Forest College.
