LAKE FOREST, Ill.- The Beloit College Women's Soccer season officially came to an end this afternoon at the hands of MWC Regular season champion Lake Forest College.
The Buccaneers were outmatched offensively by the Foresters. LFC out shot the Bucs, 11(7) to 4(2).
The Foresters scored their first goal of the game in the 17th minute. They took a 1-0 lead into the break. Just over 10 minutes into the second half, they doubled their lead and cruised to a 2-0 victory.
Alayna Furch (Saint Charles, Mo.) and
Bri Paez (Las Vegas, Nev.) each recorded one SOG for the Buccaneers.
Briana Arteaga (Covina, Calif.) played all 90 minutes in goal, giving up two goals but making 5 saves.
The Buccaneers finished the 2023 season with an overall record of 5-9-5 and a MWC record of 4-1-3.
