EUREKA, Ill. - Last night the Beloit College volleyball team headed south to Eureka, Ill. for a match against the Red Devils of Eureka College.
The Buccaneers (0-9) saw significant improvement in the match against the Red Devils (1-2). The Bucs won the first set, 25-21. They started the set on a 7-2 run before the Red Devils started to crawl back. Despite the attempted comeback, the Bucs never trailed in the set.
Unfortunately, BC couldn't hold on to the momentum and fell in the second set 23-25. From there, the Bucs struggled to keep the nest two sets close and ultimately lost the match 1 set to 3 (25-21, 23-25, 14-25, 13-25).

The Buccaneers make their long awaited home debut at Flood Arena on Friday, September 22 at 7pm. The Bucs host the Belles of Saint Mary's (Ind.).
