Box Score BELOIT, Wis. - After two goals in the first nine minutes of action, the Beloit College Women's soccer team and the Monmouth College FIghting Scots settled into this afternoons match. 

The Fighting Scots (2-6-3, 0-1-1 MWC) struck first, scoring just seven and a half minutes into the game. Just two minutes later, Abbey Scott (Oswego, Ill.) knotted the game at a goal a piece for the Buccaneers (2-7-3, 1-0-1 MWC). 

Scott broke through on the right side and connected on a ball from Anna Williams (Fenton, Mo.) to even the game at one. Over the final thirty six minutes of the half, the Buccaneers registered six shots on goal compared to just two from Monmouth. 

Monmouth broke the 1-1 tie in the 51st minute and continued to put the pressure on the Bucs. Hannah Sempsrott (St. Charles, Ill.) tied the game at two in the 76th minute with a monster strike from distance. She snuck it over the hands of the outstretched Fighting Scots keeper. Scott earned the assist on the goal. 

Maya Betzler manned the goal for the Bucs for all ninety minutes, making four saves.
