BELOIT, Wis. - In an impressive display of talent and determination, Beloit College's swimming and diving teams delivered multiple standout performances during Saturday's home meet against Milwaukee School of Engineering and North Central College.

The Beloit women kicked off the meet with a commanding victory in the 200-yard medley relay. The powerhouse quartet of Maclaryn Leonard (South Beloit, Ill.), Kelsey Gerstler, Lylah Murrah (North Pole, AK), and Alaina Neumann combined their talents for a winning time of 2:02.47, setting an energetic tone for the day's competition. This momentum carried through to the meet's conclusion, where the women's team secured another relay victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:46.57, anchored by Lydia Nordgren's blazing 24.97 split.

Nordgren emerged as one of the meet's premier performers, showcasing her versatility across multiple events. She dominated the sprint events with a victory in the 50-yard freestyle (25.20) and demonstrated her technical prowess with a winning performance in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.83). In the distance events, Nora Krystowiak (Kenosha, Wis.) displayed remarkable endurance and pacing, securing victories in both the 1000-yard freestyle (12:12.95) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:57.02).

The individual event successes continued as Gerstler claimed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.73, while Murrah touched first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:25.33). Neumann added to Beloit's victory count with a strong performance in the 100-yard backstroke, winning in 1:06.88.

Several Buccaneers showcased their versatility throughout the meet.  Leonard backed up her strong relay performances with a victory in the 100-yard freestyle (56.98), while  Gerstler complemented her freestyle victory with an impressive showing in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.92).

Jeremy Mueller (Machesney Park, Ill.) continued to be a bright spot on the men's side. Mueller won his 200-yard Freestyle in convincing fashion, touching the wall in 1:43.76.

The diving competition proved particularly successful for Beloit, with Helena Harrison delivering record-setting performances in both diving events. Harrison demonstrated remarkable consistency winning the 1-meter diving with 233.95 points and improving her performance on the 3-meter board to score 240.70 points. Following just behind her in each event was Freshman Elsa Gregory. Gregory posted a 218.00 in the 1-meter and a 183.45 in the 3-meter. In the men's diving events, Jacob Fuller continued to improve, securing third-place finishes in both the 1-meter (175.80) and 3-meter (150.60) competitions.
