RIPON, Wis. - This afternoon the Beloit College Football team fell to Ripon on the road. The Buccaneers (1-8, 1-7 MWC) were unable to comeback against the Red Hawks (3-6, 2-5 MWC). Ripon took a 10-0 lead into halftime. The Buccaneers found the end zone once in the final frame, but the Red Hawks added six more to win the game 16-7.
After the Red Hawks returned the opening kick-off 31 yards, they began their drive at their own 38-yard line. On the first play from scrimmage,

The Buccaneers finally found the end zone with 5:55 left in the game. They constructed a 10 play, 55-yard drive that was capped off with a 1-yard touchdown run from
Jacob Shafer (Dixon, IL).
The Buccaneers wrap up the 2024 season next Saturday in Jacksonville, Illinois. Kick off against the Blue Boys is set for 12 pm from England Stadium.
