BELOIT, WIs. - This morning's volleyball match against the Lady Blues of Illinois College marked the end of the 2024 season for the Beloit College Volleyball team. The Buccaneers (4-21, 0-8 MWC) dropped the first two sets rather quickly, 9-25, 16-25 before rallying in set three but ultimately falling 20-25. 

Senior McKayla "Maka" Simao (Sparta, Wis.) went out with a bang, leading the Buccaneers in kills, aces and digs. Simao posted five kills, one ace and six digs. Kierra Rayne Hoover (Albuquerque, New Mexico) followed Simao with four kills and led the Bucs with two blocks. Beloit's freshman stepped up big as well, Lizzie Paschal (Holbrook, AZ) led the setters with nine assists and Adelaide Schmitt (Aurora, CO) tallied five digs. 

This concludes the 2024 Beloit Volleyball season.
