Box Score BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Men's Soccer team hosted the Panthers of Principia College this afternoon. After giving up a penalty kick goal in the first half, the Buccaneers (1-7, 0-0 MWC) fell 0-3 to the Panthers (2-3-1)

Beloit had opportunities including a penalty kick off their own in the first half, but were unsuccessful. The Bucs fired off ten total shots, with two registering as on goal. Meanwhile, the Panthers tallied 25(10) shots. 

The Panthers opened the scoring in the 19th minute when they converted a penalty kick after an AJ Mrotek (Algonquin, Ill.) foul in the box. The remainder of the half was was back and forth. The Panthers shut the door on the Bucs in the final ten minutes of the game, netting goals two and three in the 79th and 87th minutes. 

David Staats (Meridian, ID) played all 90 minutes in goal, recording seven saves.  

Beloit has a quick turn around when they host the Westminster (MO) Blue Jays tomorrow at 11 am at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
