BELOIT, Wis. - This afternoon the Beloit College Men's Soccer team hosted the Ravens of Anderson University. The Buccaneers (0-4-0, 0-0-0) fell short in the first half offensive match up after the Ravens (2-1-1, 0-0-0) scored the go ahead goal in the 30th minute. 

The Ravens jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute, just eleven minutes later Israel Zewdie (Las Vegas, Nev.) and the Buccaneers equalized. With AU driving, goal keeper Henry Amini left the box in attempt to stop the drive. After touching the ball out of the box and denying a goal scoring opportunity, he was given a red and the Buccaneers were left to play with ten the remainder of the game. On the ensuing free kick after the card, the Ravens scored the go ahead goal on the long free kick. 

Despite playing down the entire second half, Beloit fired off three shots and held Anderson to just 6, half of what they had in the first. 

The Buccaneers have a quick turn around and will host the Muskies of Lakeland University tomorrow, Monday, September 9th at the Strong Complex Soccer Field. Kick off is set for 4 pm.
