Game 1:
The Buccaneers carried a 3-0 lead heading into the top of the ninth, but the Pioneers weren't finished. They plated three runs to tie the game and force the bottom half of the ninth.

The pivotal moment came in the bottom of the 10th inning. After a lead-off out,Connor Vogel (Palmdale, Calif.) walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch, and then to third due to a passed ball, putting him in scoring position. Nolan Tomsyck (Muskego, Wis) then walked, Jacopo "JT" Tamburini (Bologna, Italy) came in to pinch hit and drew the third straight walk. After a series of base running maneuvers, Miles Souza (Carpinteria, Calif.) secured the game-winning RBI, walking to drive in Vogel, securing a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Leading the charge for Beloit College was Vogel, whose clutch hitting accounted for 2 RBIs and set the stage for the dramatic finish. Souza also recorded an RBI.

On the pitching side, Harvey Pena (Riverside, Calif.) earned the win (2-0), delivering two crucial innings with four strikeouts and two earned runs.
