Tim Blum joined the Buccaneer staff prior to the 2015-16 season. Tim was born and raised in Beloit and is a 1993 graduate of Turner High School. At Turner, he was a three sport athlete receiving four varsity letters in basketball. He played one season for the University of Wisconsin-Rock County before an injury ended his playing career.
In addition to coaching at Beloit College, Tim has been a coach of multiple sports, including hockey, baseball, track, and football, at levels from 4th grade to the collegiate level. Tim enjoys coaching and values the relationships created through sport.
Tim received his Bachelor Degree in Educational Studies from Western Governors University in November 2017. He is currently working toward a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri in Positive Coaching.
Tim works full-time as a flooring installer. He has four children, Matthew, Nathan, Tyler, and Abby. He and his wife, Shelly, live in Janesville, WI.
