Steven Korus joined the Buccaneer men's lacrosse program as an assistant coach in 2021.
Korus has coached lacrosse at the high school level since 2013 but also has collegiate football coaching experience at Carroll University and the University of Chicago. As a student-athlete, Korus was a First Team All-Conference linebacker for the third best defense in Division III at Carroll University. While at Carroll Korus was also a member of the lacrosse recreation club working with the Pioneers Athletic Director toward adding the sport as a varsity program. That goal came to fruition in 2014 with Carroll playing it's first season in 2015, just two years after Korus graduated.
