The Beloit College men's lacrosse team fell 16-4 against the Falcons of Concordia-Wisconsin in Mequon Saturday afternoon.
CUW posted six goals in the first quarter and a five-goal third to put the game out of reach for Beloit. Mark Gannon scored two goals while Kevin Joswiak and Michael Boyland registered one each. Matt Lee and Nick Meisberger each tallied an assist in the contest.
Boyland got the Buccaneers on the board with 13:10 on the clock in the second quarter to make it 6-1 CUW. Joswiak struck next with a goal at the 12:55 mark in the third quarter. Gannon's two goals came at the 9:37 mark of the third and with 6:32 left in the game.
The Bucs will look to bounce back Wednesday against Monmouth College on the road. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. start.
