The Beloit College men's soccer team fell to Carroll University 3-0 in the team's final home game of the season Wednesday afternoon.

The Pioneers held a 16-6 advantage in shots and an 8-0 gap in corner kicks over the course of the 90-minute contest. 

Carroll's opening goal in the 20th minute was the eventual game-winner but the Pioneers were able to find that back of the net for two additional goals in the second half.

Grady Spencer had the best scoring opportunity for the Bucs just five minutes into the second half but his shot was thwarted by the Carroll keeper. 

Buccaneer keeper EJ Lowney was in net for just over 66 minutes while fellow keeper Alex Lyon spent just under 24 minutes in the box. The pair combined for six saves in the contest. 

Beloit's final three matches will be on the road with a Saturday contest at Ripon followed by a midweek trip to Lake Forest on Tuesday and the final game of the season is slated for Saturday, October 27 at St. Norbert.
