The Beloit College men's soccer team fell to 1-7-1 on the season with a loss to Cornell College (8-0-2) 3-1 on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Rams scored the first two goals of the half getting on the board in the ninth minute and extending the lead to 2-0 in the 29th minute.
Jose Gutierrez cut the margin in half on a penalty kick in the final minute of the first half.
The Rams had the advantage in shots 14-10 and corner kicks 3-1.
Buccaneer keeper Alex Lyon registered three saves in the contest.
