The Beloit College volleyball team fell to Lake Forest 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-23) on the road Tuesday night.
The Buccaneers improved each set including posting a .394 attack percentage in the third set but were unable to push a fourth game.Â
Aryssa Harris led the Buc attackers with nine kills followed by fellow outside hitter Eva Laun-Smith's five.Â
Paige Wimbrow tallied 16 assists in the contest. Defensively, Wimbrow added eight digs followedy by Chloe Fleming with seven and six apiece from Shelby Strehlow and Harris.Â
Beloit posted a 7-2 advantage in blocks led by Allison Faber with four including one solo and three assist blocks. Laun-Smith added a solo and two assist blocks in the match.Â
The Bucs will host St. Norbert College Friday at 7 p.m. in Flood Arena in the final home match of the season. Beloit will wrap up the 2018 season on the road Saturday at Ripon College.Â
