The Beloit College softball team dropped two games in the Diamond 9 Sunkissed Games in Kissimmee, Florida Thursday.
In the opener, the Buccaneers fell 15-3 to Marietta College in five innings. Ashley Lambert and Alyssa Morris each went 2-for-3 from the plate in the game. Morgan Lippert suffered the loss on the mound.
In the nightcap, Utica tallied the win, 15-1 in a shortened five-inning contest. Four Bucs registered hits in the game with Alyssa Boltik recording Beloit's lone run. Â
The Bucs hope to bounce back with their final two games in Kissimmee tomorrow against Springfield and Plattsburgh State. Beloit returns to the Midwest March 21 for a doubleheader at Rockford University.
