Bucs Swept in Milwaukee

The Beloit College softball lost a pair of games against Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee Sunday afternoon, 4-0 and 9-1 in a shortened game.

The Bucs tallied seven hits on the day against the 11-3 Raiders squad.

Alyssa Morris, Ashley Lambert and Bree Swanson notched hits in both contests Sunday. Lambert increased her team-leading season hit total to 22 including her fourth double of 2018.

Boltik went the distance in the opener striking out five in six innings in the circle.

In the nightcap, Kenzie Roberts and Morris shared time on the mound with Roberts suffering the loss to move to 1-1 on the season.

On Deck: The Bucs host Ripon College for their home opener March 31. The double header is slated to start at 1 p.m.
