The Beloit College men's soccer team improved to 2-1 in Midwest Conference play with a 2-0 victory over Grinnell College on the road Saturday.

Desire Mukucha tallied both of Beloit's goals capitalizing on a pass from Casey Wagner in the  29th minute and then posting a second goal off an assist from Richard Thomas in the 84th minute. 

The Bucs made the most of their offensive opportunities in the game. With only eight shots including six on goal for the two teams combined in the contest, Beloit found the back of the net on two of their four on goal opportunities. Each team posted two saves while the teams combined for just five corner kicks in the game.

Beloit will host Lake Forest Wednesday, October 9 at 4 p.m. at the Strong Soccer Complex. The Foresters boast an unblemished league record, 2-0, heading into the contest.
