The Beloit College men's soccer team scored first but was unable to hold off a surging Lake Forest squad falling 3-1 in the league game Wednesday afternoon in Beloit.
In the 20th minute,
Deji Agunbiade took a corner sending it into the box into a group of players.
Derek Veenstra was able to get his right boot on it for the first score of the game.
The Buccaneers held the lead through the first half but Lake Forest tallied the equalizer less than five minutes into the second.
The Foresters made it 1-1 in the 50th minute and then took the lead in the 54th minute. The LFC defense thwarted a few late scoring opportunities for the Bucs to register their third straight Midwest Conference win.
Luis Rodriguez made seven saves in goal for Beloit.
