The Beloit College softball team dropped a pair of games to the hot-hitting Raiders of Milwaukee School of Engineering. MSOE took game one 20-0 in five innings and 17-2 in the nightcap.
The Buccaneers struggled to find offense in the twinbill registering just two hits in the opener and five in the second game of the day.
Maty Nowakowski and Emily Stapay led Beloit at the plate each recording two hits on the day. Nowakowski added a run batted in and Stapay drew two walks in the nightcap. Stephannie Lopez, Alyssa Boltik and Callie Dutton also tallied hits in the second game.
Alyssa Morris suffered the loss in game one while Boltik took the loss in the circle in game two.
The Bucs have a busy week ahead hosting Rockford Thursday, St. Norbert Saturday and Lawrence Sunday. The Rockford doubleheader is slated to begin at 3 p.m. while the weekend games are set for 1 p.m. first pitches. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
