The Beloit College women's lacrosse team cruised to an 11-1 win over Benedictine University on the road Saturday afternoon.
Fiona Milchman tallied the first goal for the Bucs, less than 20 seconds into the game, in her first time back from injury. Olivia Nasatir followed with an unassisted score with 27:22 showing on the clock in the first half and that was all the Bucs would need but they didn't stop there.
Nicole Dolcimascolo got on the board in the scoring column before Kieran Rodning sandwiched another Milchman goal to make it 6-0 at the intermission.
Beloit outscored the Eagles 5-1 in the second stanza with Sy Dragon and Dolcimascolo posting two goals each and Milchman adding her third of the contest.
The team statistics were relatively even despite the score but the Buccaneers were more efficient peppering the Eagle keeper with 22 shots on goal while Alexa Arakelian faced just 12 from Benedictine.
Arakelian registered 11 saves in the complete game win in net.
Up Next: The Bucs will head to Dubuque, Iowa to take on Clarke University Wednesday, March 13. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
