The Beloit College softball dropped a pair of games at Ripon College Saturday afternoon falling to the Red Hawks 3-0 in the opener and 6-0 in the nightcap.
The Buccaneers left five runners on base in the first contest and ten on in the second game of the twinbill.
Beloit registered five hits in the opener, all by different Bucs. Madi Christine added a stolen base to her single in the game.
Alyssa Boltik suffered the loss on the mound scattering five hits over six innings of work. She allowed just one earned run while striking out two and walking two.
The Bucs tallied seven hits in game two including two off the bats of Christine, Stephannie Lopez and Dani Strejc each. Lopez added a double and Christine notched her second stolen base on the day in the game.
Maddy Pfortmiller continued to work toward finding her stride in the circle after missing much of the season due to injury. She allowed four earned runs on nine hits while striking out three in the game.
 The Bucs will head to Lake Forest for a pair of games Wednesday afternoon before wrapping up the season with two, neutral-site, doubleheaders next weekend in Janesville.
