Senior shooting guard
Dani Strejc tied the program record for three-pointers in a game as the Beloit College women's basketball team fell to Knox College 70-50 Saturday afternoon.
Strejc's seven three's Saturday ties Christina Pape, who hit the mark twice in 1995 and 1996, for the most three-pointers made by a Buccaneer in program history. Strejc was 7-9 from beyond the arc and 8-12 from the floor in the game en route to a game-high 25 points.
Lauren Glaser also wrote her name into the program record book Saturday tying for fourth in a category she currently holds the school record in. The senior point guard registered 11 assists against Knox Saturday, tied for fourth-most. Glaser broke the program record last season with 17 assists against Rockford.
Turnovers proved costly for Beloit as the Prairie Fire turned 25 Buccaneer miscues into 31 points.
Kelly Loudon added 13 points for the Bucs while
Christy Melton was a point shy of a double-double posting nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Beloit College will wrap up the 2019-20 season in Flood Arena hosting Grinnell College Tuesday at 7:30 followed by Cornell College Saturday at 3 p.m. Saturday's contest against the Rams has been designated the team's senior day.
