Then Rodning drew a foul and capitalized on the free position attempt to give the Bucs a 2-1 lead.

Sy Dragon. A free position shot and goal for the Falcons with under two minutes to play in the half knotted the game at 4-4 but Dolcimascolo would send Beloit into the intermission with the advantage on a nifty goal with 47 seconds on the clock.
On the other side of the break,
Olivia Nasatir found the back of the net on a free position attempt to equalize an earlier Falcon goal with 27:04 remaining. Another CUW goal was negated by Dolcimascolo whose free position shot beat the keeper reclaim the lead for Beloit with just under 25 minutes remaining. The lead didn't last long as the Falcons controlled the draw and quickly pushed the issue scoring just 11 seconds after the Bucs to tie the game once again, this time 7-7, with 24:43 to go.
Rodning struck again to sway the advantage into Beloit's favor and then following a Falcon miscue, groundball pickup by
Melinda Balades and a successful clear attempt, Rodning weaved her way through three Falcon defenders for a one-on-one with the goalie. Driving at full speed, Rodning went right and beat the keeper top shelf to give the Bucs a two-goal cushion, 9-7, with 17:45 on the clock.
CUW pulled to within one at the the 11:02 mark before Rodning pushed lead back to two with her fourth goal of the contest with just under 10 minutes left.
